Tyler Reddick Nabs First Win in Draw-Tite Truck at Daytona

Marks First NASCAR Trucks Win for Reddick

CequentPLYMOUTH, Mich. – It was an exciting weekend for Cequent™ Performance Products and its Hitch Pro® customers as the group watched Tyler Reddick snag his first win on the NASCAR Trucks circuit in the #19 Draw-Tite® Ford. The win came in the first race of the season at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, NextEra Energy Resources 250, at Daytona International Speedway.

Reddick stayed near or at the front of the pack for much of the race, avoiding several wrecks that evening. He was able to build a lead off turn four in the final lap and cross the finish line alone for the victory. This is the first truck series win ever for 19-year-old Reddick and the first win this season for his team, Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR), owned by NASCAR Sprint Cup Champ Brad Keselowski.

“As a sponsor of the #19 truck, we are thrilled for Tyler and the BKR team on their victory Friday night,” said Tom Benson, president, Cequent Performance Products. “It was great to be there to support them and to celebrate the win with not only the racing team, but our Hitch Pros as well. We couldn’t have scripted it any better.”

Cequent’s Hitch Pros, which are some of the company’s top customers, gather yearly for a conference with CPP to discuss new ideas, new products, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with decades of doing business together.

“Our participation in racing gives the Draw-Tite brand, and those who carry and install it, added exposure,” said Benson. “Aligning our company with NASCAR and its fans, many of whom are towing enthusiasts, makes the relationship we have with BKR a perfect fit for all involved.”

Reddick’s next race will be on February 28th at Atlanta Motor Speedway; it is set to air on Fox Sports 1 at 5:30pm EST.
